Dr Rowan Gillies

 

 

 

Dr Rowan Gillies BSci(Med) MBBS (Hons) FRACS is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has recently returned from a Senior Clinical Fellowship at Harvard Medical School as well as a Clinical Observership at the Jules Verne Clinic, Nantes, France.

 

He has spent a significant part of his career overseas, working as a general doctor, administrator and surgeon with Medecins Sans Frontieres. 

 

Dr Gillies has a specific interest in reconstruction following skin cancer, lower limb reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction and the management of severe burns and trauma.

 

Dr Gillies is a VMO Plastic Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital and Prince of Wales Public Hospital, Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick and The Royal Hospital for Women. He operates privately at Prince of Wales Private, Castlecrag Private, The Mater Hospital and North Shore Private Hospitals. His main consulting rooms are at St Leonards. 

Dr Gillies also consults at PORT MACQUARIE PLASTIC SURGERY on a monthly basis, and operates at PORT MACQUARIE PRIVATE HOSPITAL.
